Math

The math lessons begin with whole group lessons followed by independent practice. For reinforcement, we start off each day with a warm up of math skills that have been previously taught. When planning math lessons, we keep in mind our student's learning style along with the lesson objectives. We will move from a concrete lesson that use manipulatives to a more abstract less that extends to real life or applies to a different situation. This technique helps students comprehend each skill.
