Being a good digital citizen goes beyond just navigating the internet.

Students need digital citizenship skills to engage meaningfully in their communities and make responsible choices both online and in everyday life.

At Birdville ISD, we believe that every individual should model and practice digital citizenship daily.

We can model Digital Citizenship by researching, connecting, learning, creating, sharing, problem-solving, and communicating responsibly online.

These lesson plans and resources below are fun and incredibly flexible.

Feel free to adapt the lessons to fit your or your campus' needs, and be sure to look for the lesson recommendations if you want tips for adjusting the lessons if time is limited. You can also stretch the lessons over multiple days if you prefer.
