The SAC will create a survey of faculty teaching for those faculty that are going up for review by IPC this academic year. There is a pre-made survey that was used in the past available, if desired, but the SAC is welcome to create their own tool to gather student ratings and comments about the faculty. These will be considered by the promotion committee (IPC) in their deliberation about promotion, tenure, and contract renewal. Once the student responses are obtained, the Director of Assessment will generate the data reporting frequencies for the Likert responses given for each question and providing all student comments (anonymously). The SAC then evaluates the data and writes a report that is sent to the Faculty Chair of the IPC. The fall reports will be due November 1, 2025 for the Fall IPC reviews of faculty. Dr. Bohan will meet with the SAC once it is formed to let you know who the faculty are that need to be reviewed and to make sure everyone is aware of the university policy and procedure and confidentiality required by the SAC members regarding this process.
Additional Information: This is first come, first serve with preference also to P3's and P2's. Please use this link to indicate your interest in serving on the SAC. https://forms.gle/NuNHN1u1kQCAkcR88
