Organize our photo files of volunteer events, monitoring events, school events, etc. - and create our Volunteer of the year annual poster.
Organize water quality monitoring equipment and supplies and update all the calibration fluids, etc.
Create public outreach materials to solicit volunteers for our citizen monitoring program, which monitors water quality in our local creeks since 2001.
Create outreach materials to highlight a recent stormwater project implemented throughout Chico - storyboards, flyers, site tour guides, etc.
Assist in creating and updating our stormwater outreach materials.
Update our monitoring manual -reformat and update a few of the protocols.
Assisting with our Clean Water Science Ambassador Program in Schools. We landed a grant to construct stormwater treatment gardens on nine school campuses, which will reduce runoff pollution and an outdoor stormwater related classroom on each campus. Students could assist us in providing providing instruction during school events, or helping put the learning module kits together. They could also help us put together the lesson handbook.
