Dictating to your Chromebook

Step 1: At the bottom right, select the time. Or press Alt + Shift + s.

Step 2: Select Settings .

Step 3: At the bottom, select Advanced.

Step 4: In the 'Accessibility' section, select Manage accessibility features.

Step 5: Close the window and click the time

Step 6: Expand the 'Accessibility' option.

Step 7: Click 'Dictation' to enable the option.

Step 8: Click in a typeable box and then select the speak button. You can also press the Search key + D buttons as a shortcut.
