The SNHS at Tinley Park High School is looking to expand Tinley Park's Science Bowl program to other schools in District 228. If you are a student at Oak Forest, Bremen, or Hillcrest who enjoys trivia games or science trivia contact your science teachers for more information. All of District 228's science teachers have been given information about starting their own science bowl teams, and we encourage you to start a conversation with them on the subject.
Science Bowl is a trivia competition much like scholastic bowl, but with one small difference... it's all science trivia!!! There are no prerequisites for the competition, all you need is a love of science and learning in general.
April 24th, 2019
Each team is allowed to have four members playing at one time, which is why we are encouraging each school from the district to bring two teams. This event will serve as an introduction to the rules, style of question, and as a friendly competition in preparation for the actual event next school year.
Once the competition is up and running, the bracket will be available in real time in the link below

Check out the Department of Energy's official website for rules and requirements, as well as practice sets of questions
Once you have your teams selected, let us know their official names (get as sciencey and creative as your want) in the survey below.
Either your members or your sponsor will need to provide a ride to and from the event, however we will provide drinks and food.
*if you have any dietary requirements, please be prepared to bring your own meal (we will try to accommodate, but can not guarantee to our ability to provide a meal).
