Group Interpretation/  Drama

Group Interpretation--fondly called GI by its cast members--is an audition-based group that performs as an IHSA competition play. There are many rules a GI has to follow; the most important one being the 30-minute time limit. Each year the Group Interpretation team takes a movie, a book, or a play and cuts it down to this very important time limit, which is a labor of love.

The actors that make up the cast of GI are among the finest and most dedicated that OFHS has to offer as they are often rehearsing for the GI at the same time the OF Drama Group is rehearsing for the Spring Musical! If acting is in your blood, this activity is for you! 

We audition every year in the fall, so pay close attention to the announcements in September for audition dates!
