In reviewing the district’s overall professional development priorities, it is clear that training in instructional technology is emphasized in all priority areas. Technology training is critical to our overall professional development plan. Staff development is offered throughout the academic year and in the summer. On the average, the majority of teachers spend 30 to 40 hours per academic year on scheduled professional development activities.
