Grade Calculation

All assignments are expected to be turned in on time.  If unforeseen circumstances should occur and work is expected to be late,  please communicate by email, be sure to name the assignment, and reason for delay.

Formative: Includes homework completion, participation, classwork completion, and other activities.

Summative:  Includes quizzes and tests.  (Some graded assignments and projects will be designated as summative.)

Retesting: 

• Students may retest on larger summative assessments;  this is to be earned by accomplishing a remediation assignment(s).

• Students may retest only once per assessment.  

• Highest score of the two will be kept.  

• Students have a maximum of two weeks to complete the retesting process.
