A special 6th September assembly was organized by Grade IV Blue in order to pay tribute to the Ghazis and Martyrs for displaying devotion and tremendous sacrifices while defending their beloved homeland in the war of 1965. The morning assembly beautifully expressed how not only our armed forces but our Pakistani nation stood out too, strong and resolute when the enemy challenged our existence and stopped them dead in their tracks. The Mili Naghma sung at the end of the assembly tugged at the heartstrings of all present.
Virtual Morning Assembly
BCLR students celebrated the Independence Day with patriotic fervour on 15th August; also, the first day of their new academic session. Due to clement weather, celebrations took shape through virtual mediums this year. Students’ creativity was channelized through various activities done in their classes by engaging them in poem composition, speeches, badge making, poster making competition and writing messages to show patriotism coupled with feelings of gratitude.
After conducting individual activities students came together as a school through virtual assembly, each doing its fair share to eulogize the mother land. Students presented a medley of patriotic songs. Mrs. Samira Agha in her address expressed the joy of our freedom and exhorted the students to follow the footsteps of our forefathers to become ideal citizens of the country for our own and coming generations’ benefit. The event came to an end by singing the National Anthem in unison.
