Dear BCLR Families:
“Let’s get all the little things right”. The big things will take care of themselves.
Let me begin by wishing you all a Happy New Year filled with many successes and continued progress. During winter break, I hope you had the chance to catch up with friends and family and enjoy some rest and relaxation. I certainly spent some time reflecting on 2022 and thinking about the work and opportunities that lie ahead in 2023.
Our term concluded with lots of achievements and quite a few initiatives were taken with the start of this academic year such as the Leader in Me Program, Peer Review, Teaching of Holy Quran at the Middle Level, National level Quizzes, B- Meta testing etc. I am proud to share the National Level wins coming to BCLR in Beaconhouse Junior Idol 2022 and 100 meter Sprint. Whereas, other sports teams of Cricket and Football reaching up till Semifinals at Inter-Cluster Level. Congratulations to The Sports and Music Teachers for their brilliant performance! We are super excited to present BCLR project on “ Children Rights” by Zenia Zaigham for the upcoming National LAP conference 2023.
I congratulate my Student Council and in-charge teachers for successfully organizing the Teachers Day, BSS Birthday, Urdu Week, Milaad, Club activities, fun filled sports and co-curricular activities with parents of Early Years, Movie Trips at Junior and Middle Levels, Bon-fire and Leisure trips for Senior Levels. These social activities made them learn many more equally valuable things envisioning learners’ profile, including how to be a good friend, to resolve conflict, to persevere, to be responsible, to find their own solutions and to always do their best.
Our brilliant teaching staff and administrative staff continue to provide academic support and enrichment programs, particularly to our senior grades after the normal school days. Many learners are benefitting from these opportunities as we thrive to produce excellent academic results at the end of the school year. I congratulate our Matric and O Level Teams on achieving outstanding results as our learners continue to triumph academically against all adversities.
I am excited to begin our work for the second half of the school year to ensure that learning continues. As we ring in the new year, we see this as an opportunity to check in with students and families to ensure that our students are on-track, prepared and ready for the second half of the year. What I have observed, as we approach the midpoint of the school year, is that students are academically strong and that our instructional and support team remains energized.
BCLR continues to strive to become a school focused on educational equity and find unique and innovative ways to partner, support and create opportunities that make our school a place where all children enjoy learning, develop strong relationships, and continue to grow each day socially, emotionally, and academically. As always, thank you parents for your continued support. Our New building is just a few months away for acquisition!
Have a brilliant winter break – give someone a reason to smile! I wish all my students the very best for their Mid-year Results.
Looking forward to welcome you all on 9th January 2023 Inshallah!
With Regards,

Dear Parents and Colleagues,
Greetings All!
Looking back on this term I am delighted that teaching and learning were overwhelmingly seen as the things we do best. This school year students of all ages got involved in activities that simply reflected their skills both academically and socially, from class presentations to sports displays to parents meetup sessions . It truly depicted how we are connected and developing as a learning community in totality. The Initiative of " tour around the world" was the main highlight and was very well displayed and appreciated by all the stakeholders.
I want to personally thank my students, creative staff members and their families for being a part of our learning process and updating us with their constructive feedback and suggestions to further develop our students skills to connect them to the wider world around them.
As the famous quote says “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.”
Let's connect as educators and parents for our students to be exposed to as many new experiences as possible in their Early Years to stretch themselves, explore and experiment with new ways of thinking and doing and growing independent.
Looking forward to some more exciting activities, challenges and connections to unfold in the coming term .
Stay connected !
Regards,

Dear Parents and Colleagues,
Greetings All!
To start, l am grateful to Allah Almighty for his countless blessings. Alhumdulillah, another term has ended with lots of memories and milestones, and yet a lot to achieve in the next term , ln sha Allah!
The world is evolving rapidly and we at BCLR aim to introduce modern learning methods and courses, which enable our students to succeed with flying colours. To empower our students, this year Beaconhouse School System has introduced an evidence based comprehensive model the "Leader in Me" from grade 3 till grade 5 which is forging leadership and life skills in our students. As a result, students are taking the language of "7-Habits" back to their home and are creating a change not only in themselves but also in people around them.
“Leaders aren’t born, they are made. And they are made just like anything else, through hard work. And that’s the price we’ll have to pay to achieve that goal, or any goal.” —Vince Lombardi
Our initiative of launching clubs and different societies in BCLR is opening doors for our students to learn useful skills such as courage, team work, leadership, tolerance and much more. Active participation in the student council and going through the entire selection process is evidence of this. In addition, exemplary students were designated the roles of dignity ambassadors to epitomize ideal behaviour.
I congratulate all my students for their Midyear result. Since ,everyone has a complete review of term 1 performance ,so l encourage everyone to start working on the identified areas of improvement and work hard to give their best in the final term.
Apart from the academic timeline, we are planning to have other co-curricular activities like Debate competitions / quizzes and extra curricular activities that include drama evening for Primary school ,and sports day for the entire school.
While we look forward to a new year now, we must never forget the achievements we have accomplished this year, and the hard work it took to reach our goals. All of this could not have been possible without a great team and the abiding high spirits each of us holds.
"Everyone can rise above their circumstances and achieve success if they are dedicated to and passionate about what they do". Mother Teresa
I can never forget to thank our immensely supportive parents, your support and trust in us is what has kept us going over the years. Last and never the least our talented children, the leaders of our youth, you all never fail to impress us by your distinct and astounding set of skills and qualities, seeing your smiles and spirited attitude every day is nothing less than a motivation for us.
Wishing you all a prosperous year ahead, may we all continue to shine and succeed in the years to come!Ameen
