CARD MAKING ACTIVITY UPPER PRIMARY
The third week of October was marked by the celebrations of Global Dignity Day which inspired the students of Upper Primary to look beyond what divides us all and recognize the dignity and humanity we share. Striving to ensure that compassion, love and understanding wins out over injustice, intolerance and inequality, they designed badges and wore them with pride throughout the week to uphold dignity for all.
In order to enhance students' awareness on Global Dignity Day our O levels students held an online discussion with the students from Beaconhouse Newlands School, Westminster School and Alnumow Altarbawi School, Jordan to share their views. This session revolved around a discussion based on different perspectives on Dignity , hence named as "Dignity Dialogue" .
A fabulous Bake Sale was being held in the Secondary branch. This bake sale was being held to donate to Shaukat Khanum Hospital to aid the grave cause of fighting cancer. 12 stalls had been installed in the ground by students from various classes, all offering a multitude of culinary delights including cupcakes, pizza, brownies, rolls, chaat and more. A well thought out coupon system had been established, with students being able to purchase either 50 rupees coupons or 100 rupees coupons through which they could buy the eatables they desired. First the seniors, then the juniors came to participate in the noble cause. By the end of the allotted time for the bake sale, a grand total of 68 thousand rupees had been raised by the school, all of which was donated to Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
