Economic Empowerment of Rural Women Entrepreneurs in New Normal
Women across the world are disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, reversing gains in gender equality made in recent decades. Women-led businesses have been more negatively impacted economically, especially in rural India. In this context, based on the recommendations of the G20 policy incites, the project intends to design and implement skill-based modules for women SHGs of rural Odisha that accelerate and supports their understanding and operationalizing their business effectively. Further, in the second stage, the project intends to offer a digital inclusion of women entrepreneurs and empowers them to be successful in both digital business and the digital economy.

Har Ghar Tiranga
A Walkathon was organized by NSS-BGU on 9th August 2022 from Kalinga Stadium to Police Commissionerate, Office, Bhubaneswar to invoke the feeling of patriotism in people’s hearts and encourage people to bring Tiranga home hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s Independence.
NSS BGU organized an Art Competition for the Rural School students of Malipada Panchayat and students of BGU, Khurda. A total of 202 students from nine different schools participated in the event. NSS volunteers have coordinated the entire event.
