About me

• Born in Oxford, Mississippi.

• Moved to Bowling Green, KY when I was 5 years old.

• Graduated from Greenwood High School (Class of 2011).

• Played four years of football at Kentucky Wesleyan College (Class of 2015).

  • • Team Captain in 2014 (senior season)

    • Got a bachelors degree in Special Ed. (K-12) and Middle Grades Social Studies (5-9).

• Have a Masters in Counseling and an EDS in Counseling (Rank 1) all from University of the Cumberlands.

• Taught Special Ed. at Drakes Creek Middle School for 6 years (2014-2021).

  • • Coached football at Greenwood during my time at DCMS.

• Spent two years as the counselor at TC Cherry Elementary (2021-2023).  Then two years as the counselor at Bowling Green Junior High (2023-2025).  Now, I am in my first year as a counselor at BGHS (Class of 2028).

  • • I have coached football for BGHS for the past 4 years and will continue this season for my 5th with the Purples.

• I am married to my wife Natalie and we have three beautiful children; Emerson, John Nix, and Natcher.
