MiniMUN

What is MiniMUN?

MiniMUN is one of the few confrences open to Junior High students. This conference has the feel of a high school, yet is simple enough that any prospective student can enjoy. It is hosted yearly in the Spring at Bowling Green High School, and staffed by members of our club that they may gain experience enriching their Model UN careers. Barring Covid-19 restrictions we will proceed later this year with a topic to be detirmined. Come join us for a sample of what Model UN is all about.

MiniMUN III

We are excited to hold MiniMUN III on Saturday, April 30th, 2022! In a surprise for almost everyone, extraterrestrials landed on earth on April 10th. There have been 7 confirmed landings of extraterrestrial species so far. The extraterrestrials, henceforth referred to as Group X, seemingly arrived without giving any sort of clue as to that they were arriving however it seems as if the landing sites were picked for cultural importance. The seven landing sites were all in close proximity to sites referred to collectively by many as the seven wonders of the modern world. MiniMUN III will be chaired by Gabe Mott, with Kirby Bucks as Crisis Director.

MiniMUN II

For 2021, we had to hold MiniMUN virtually. Despite limitations, we were able to hold a successful conference for students interested in MUN. Due to newfound technology, dinosaurs have been recreated and are currently roaming the earth. It was the job of the delegates to regulate this world-shattering change, and to prevent unnecessary complications. This committee was chaired by Gabe Mott.

MiniMUN I

Our first every MiniMUN was hosted on May 3, 2019 in the Bowling Green High School Preforming Arts Center. Unfortunately a plague broke out turning its infected. These zombies started in Crimea slowly spreading to the rest of the world. Some governments collapsed forcing their officials into hiding until the cure was eventually found. This action packed Crisis Committee was chaired by the esteemed Bob Walters.
