Annual Fundraisers

Kroger Community Rewards

For this fundraiser, Model UN members and supporters simply must apply for the Kroger community rewards program. Once signed up, a portion of all purchases from the store will be donated to the club. Our club code is BL638.

World Finest Chocolate

This is our biggest fundraiser by far and it is held at the start of the school year. To particpate, members are given boxes of chocolate with 30 bars (worth $1-2 each) which they must sell to their peers, friends, and family. Unlike other fundraisers, students earn a percentage of the sales as credit which can be used to pay for their future expenses.

BGHS Concessions Stands

To support our community and cover conference costs, we regularly operate BGHS concession booths during track, soccer, football, basketball, and westling meets. Beyond raising funds, running concessions offers a unique opportunity for new and veterinarian members to connect with one another.

The Spring Fundraiser

Unlike other annual fundraisers, our spring fundraiser constantly expands and changes with each incoming officer class. In the past, we have worked with cookie dough companies, sold boxes of candles, and even made solar eclipse merch. No matter what we do, this fundraiser is always enjoyable and serves a key role in building reserves for our larger conferences.

Past Fundraisers

Rapid Fired Pizza fundraiser

The Rapid Fired Pizza fundraiser was the simplest fundraiser we had. All a member had to do was go to Rapid Fired Pizza, order and show a flyer to the cashier. A portion of their order then went back to the club.

Panera Fundraiser

Similarly to other fundraisers, all members had to do was show a copy of a flier to the cashier, or use code PRFUND when they ordered online. We then received a portion of their order.

Yankee Candle fundraiser

For this fundraiser, Model UN members had to sell candles to friends and family. Each member was given a catalog filled with all sorts of items to choose from. Purchases would be made in person or on the Yankee Candle website.

McDonald’s fundraiser

During this fundraiser, Model UN members work alongside McDonald employees. Usually this meant cleaning tables, sweeping floors, greeting people or taking drive-through orders. A portion of that night's profit was then donated to the club
