Phonogram Test (Thursday)- Students will be tested on the following phonograms:
a, e, i, o, u, c, g, s, y, z, ar, ai, oi, ow, th, ay, ch, qu, ee, sh, er, wor, ear, ea, or, m, r, f, d, x
Spelling Words- Students will write each spelling word 2 times while saying the correct sounds
Monday- me, do, and, go, at, on, a, it, is, she
Tuesday- can, see, run, the, in, so, no, now, man
Wednesday- ten, tan, tin, ton, bed, top, he, you, will, we, an
Thursday- Practice Spelling Test
Friday- Spelling Test
Math Homework- Students will be bringing home math pages from our Into Math curriculum. These have a picture of a raccoon at the top.

Module 2 Math Test- (8/28/26)
-Identify if a group of objects is even or odd
-Seperate a large group between two smaller groups evenly (ex: 12 apples into 2 baskets= 6 apples in each basket)
-Find an addition problem for an array
-Find how many objects in an array (ex: 5 rows of 5 books = 25 books)
-Identify problems with 2 equal addends (doubles facts) 1+1=2, 2+2=4 etc.
Reading Test- Reading grades are based on an O (Outstanding), S (Satisfactory), or N (Needs Improvement) grading scale. All words students will be expected to read have been practiced, broken down and sounded by your student prior to being tested. Reading will start out simple with sight words and build to be more complex using words that we will have practiced within our literacy books for the week.
