Phonogram Test (Thursday)- Students will be tested on the following phonograms:

c, ir, oe, igh, wh, f, ur, i, ee, ough, l, ea, ow, gu, o, ew, r, ou, u, ear, ai, kn, oo, x, wor, si, eigh, oy, ar, ch

Math Homework- Students will be bringing home math pages from our Into Math curriculum (Students may have torn homework sheets for awhile until they learn to rip out their own homework. Thank you for your patience, we will still take ripped pages! )

Module 18 Math Test- (4/21/26)

-Know the correct tool to measure an object 

Ruler =short objects/close distances

Yardstick=Long objects/far distances

Measuring tape= curved surfaces

-Know that inches are smaller than yards

-Estimate the length of an object (ex: How long is a pencil? 

10 inches, 10 feet or 10 yards)

-Use a ruler to measure an object

-Use inch tiles to measure the length of an object

-Fill out a data plot for a table of items measured

Reading- Starting in Quarter 3, reading grades are percentage based

Reading grades will now be given on a percentage grade scale, instead of O,S,N. These will be based on reading passages and assignments throughout the week. Please check your child's graded folder for graded assignments each week and an understanding of what they still need to work on.
