Binder (can be used with other classes with section separator)- place to put printed guided notes, etc.
Pencils
Colored pens or pencils- red, blue
Highlighters- green, orange, pink
Dry erase markers and eraser
Lined and Graph paper for homework- loose leaf
Compass- NO sharp points (example- bullseye compass)
Protractor
Ruler
Calculator- does NOT need to be a graphing calculator, though that would be ok, but MUST be scientific with trig buttons SIN, COS, TAN (examples- TI-30XS, TI-30X IIS, TI-30Xa)
Test retakes
Geometry students are allowed to do test retakes* with a maximum score of 90% for a maximum of 2 tests per semester. Students must complete the test retake form, and complete a minimum 90 minutes of tutoring, or complete supplemental instruction in the form of Khan Academy or HMH Online as assigned and approved by the teacher at the teacher's discretion. Tutoring may be completed during after school hours, conference, lunch, or at a time arranged with the teacher. Retakes must be completed prior to the next test (usually a two week window).
