• Please note, that locally our club is often called The Junior Women's Club of Barnesville. The "official" name is GFWC The Women's Club of Barnesville.

Additional Notes from the scholarship provider:

• The requirement details for each are outlined in the attached document.  Six pieces of required materials should be assembled by the applicants.  

• You may collect applications from more than one student from each category, then we will make a selection for each one.

• Our club's education committee will then meet to select one candidate from each category to sponsor.  We are required to include a letter of recommendation and mail the materials before March 1st.  

• Since there are many requirements for the application process, we are hopeful that you will communicate this to the senior girls very soon.

• Additionally, our club sponsors another scholarship at the local level.  Information and details will be sent before the beginning of March.  

• We are excited to sponsor students for this scholarship opportunity.  Last year, $8,000 was awarded to well deserving recipients.
