Title I Reading Specialist
Attends all meetings (grade level 100%, 20%, SAT, SST, Eligibility, IPBIS)
Identifies students needing reading support with input from classroom teacher
Provides written notification to parents related to Tier 2 services
Delivers Tier 2, 2+, and 3 (as appropriate) intervention and collaborates with Resource Room teacher to ensure Tier 3 interventions occur
Provides verbal notification to parents regarding intensification of support (move from Tier 2 to Tier 2+ or from Tier 2+ to Tier 3)
Collects regular progress monitoring data
Completes student and instructional variables (SIV) paperwork beginning with the initial move to Tier 2+.
Provides verbal notification to parents prior to SAT meetings convened around reading concerns
Provides written notification of SAT meeting outcomes to parents
Convenes Student Support Team (SST) meeting and handles related communication with family
Resource Room Teacher
Attends all meetings (grade level 100%, 20%, SAT, SST, Eligibility, IPBIS)
Delivers Tier 3 interventions
Collects weekly progress monitoring and in-program assessments on Tier 3 students
Collaborates with Title I teacher
Consults with team
Initiates Special Education Referral paperwork for Student Support Team meeting
Coordinates Special Education process and related communication with family
Prepares any necessary TieNet paperwork
