College Application Resources

Common App and AXS Companion:

The Common App  is the most widely used college application platform, with more than 1,000 colleges and universities participating.   

AXS Companion is a free, open, online resource designed by professional consultants. 

College Application Process:

1. Application

   1. Create Common App

   2. Teacher Recommendations - please click to see video of how to request on Naviance

   3. Transcript Request Forms

   4. SAT/ACT Test Scores - students need to submit SAT/ACT scores through CollegeBoard or ACT

2. FAFSA - studentaid.gov

3. College Rep Visits

   1.  Log onto your Naviance account to find updated information about upcoming College Rep Visits

   2.  Review the "Tips to meeting with College Reps" Handout

4. College Visits

   1. Schedule time with your parents/guardians to visit various college campuses of your choosing

5. Meet with your School Counselor for your Senior Meeting
