Matsuri Daiko (祭り太鼓)

A song based on the bon daiko traditions of summer festivals in Tokyo.  Said to be imported by Seichi Tanaka into America at San Francisco Dojo, right into our courtyard!

A song composed for the seventh year memorial of the Kobe Earthquake of 1995 to honor the fallen and celebrate the diversity of help the city of Kobe received in the aftermath of disaster.  Composed by Hayashi Eitetsu.  Shown is damage from Kobe Earthquake in Sannomiya, a neighborhood of Kobe.
