Learning resources for students at home
I would suggest these two videos if you want a science lesson. Give kids paper, pencils for drawing and a leaf, to do the activity while watching or skip the video and send your kids outside to draw and make observations of the signs of spring around them. Remind them of the ABCDE of scientific drawing. Accurate, Big, Colorful, Details, Explain
FOSSweb Tutorial for student login
Remember 4th and 5th should login with Clever through the library page. They have done it before in class. The Clever login is different than this video. However, parents can watch this video to see where things are and how to use FOSSweb with their kids. The home/school connection is a good resource.
This is a good video to help get your K-3 student logged in to FOSSweb.
This is a great non-fiction reading site. Lots of Spanish reading articles. Student can read articles if they sign up. They should try CLEVER it maybe already linked to the their students account (could happen next week).
Lectura de no ficción. Muchos artículos en inglés y español.
