For their final projects, students delve into a challenge within sustainability and public health with a major focus on developing solutions. Working collaboratively in small groups, students are invited to frame their presentations around actions they, or people in their own community, can take to address the complex problems explored during the course. Students may choose to complete their projects in a variety of formats including videos, podcast episodes, PowerPoint presentations, scientific posters, TED Talks, etc. Student groups will share their final projects in a Student Symposium in Berkeley Way West and/or on-line. The students will receive feedback on their projects from faculty, other students, staff and guests. Innovation and creativity, "thinking outside the box", is encouraged.
