PH101 is a 3-unit interdisciplinary course in which students take an active role through Problem Based Learning (PBL). World-class experts share their insights on global challenges, such as climate change, biodiversity, and family planning. Then, students analyze real-world case studies and propose ideas and strategies to address these crucial issues.
The directors, Prof Marlon Maus and Prof Malcolm Potts, emphasize peer-to-peer learning that requires the active participation of Graduate Student Instructors (GSIs), undergraduate Student Scholars (SSs), and the enrolled students themselves.
