Sofia's Story in Section 4

En esta sección Sofía irá al mercado con su tía Ley aprenderá mientras camina en el mercado de San Juan Atitán, en el mercado también aprenderá cómo pedir y preguntar cosas que se encuentra en el mercado, precios y cantidades, así mismo aprenderá sobre los números, frutas y verduras. Al regresar a casa Sofía aprenderá a cocinar platillos de la localidad y conversaciones que se dan durante la cocina. Al terminar la cocina Sofía aprenderá frases que se utilizan para pedir comida, intercambio normas de cortesía durante la comida, en estas actividades estará acompañada de otras dos mujeres que se llaman María y Juana.

In this section, Sofia will go to the market with her Aunt Ley. She will learn while walking through the San Juan Atitán market. At the market, she will also learn how to ask for and inquire about things she finds, including prices and quantities. She will also learn about numbers and fruits and vegetables. Upon returning home, Sofia will learn how to cook local dishes and learn about conversations that take place while cooking. After finishing cooking, Sofia will learn phrases used to order food and how to exchange rules of courtesy during the meal. During these activities, she will be accompanied by two other women named Maria and Juana.
