Overview:
The goal of the PCB is to apply cyclic voltammetry techniques on an electrolyte to determine the electrochemical stability window. In other words, the aim is to stick two electrodes (and a reference electrode) into an electrolyte and vary the potential between the electrodes until the electrolyte undergoes redox reactions (or "breaks down").
Features:
ESP32S2 Microcontroller for applying stepwise increase in potential difference across electrodes
USB-C Receptacle for serial communication with computer
Instrumentation Amplifiers for measuring current through electrolyte
Dual Precision Operational Amplifiers for setting precise voltages in working electrode
Regular Operational Amplifiers for voltage gain
Dual Rail Power Supply powered by two 9V Batteries
DAC and ADC for interfacing between microcontroller and rest of PCB
Banana Jack Connectors to connect to electrodes
Overall Zoomed Out Schematic
ESP32-S2-Solo Microcontroller
Working Electrode Voltage Control
Counter Electrode Current-to-Voltage Conversion, Signal Amplifier, & Voltage Measure
