Overview:
This project aims to develop a wrist-worn device capable of continuously monitoring heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), and skin temperature.
Description:
This project attempts to create a compact, ultra low power, Bluetooth connected biometric watch, able to send data directly to a smartphone over 2.4GHz short-range radio frequency band. It offers a portable and efficient wearable, integrating sensing, compute, power management, and communication all within a small PCB.
Features:
MAX30102 optical sensor for pulse oximetry
STS4X temperature sensor
PCB Status LED to monitor power delivery
SR4W035 2.4 GHz Bluetooth antenna for smartphone connectivity
NRF52832 for low TDP and high efficiency: single 2032 cell is able to power device for 15+ hours
Ultra-compact 4 pin connector for flashing
Complete Schematic
