COMPASS CALIBRATION:
This process should be done every time you fly the drone in a new location to orient the drone to it’s precise location in relation to the earth.
REGULAR MAINTENANCE CALIBRATION:
Vision Sensor Calibration:
The vision sensor is an important component for collision avoidance - it should be calibrated on a regular basis
Gimbal Calibration:
The gimbal allows for rotation of the camera and should be calibrated about once every 6 months.
Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU):
IMU should also be calibrated about once every 6 months. It allows drones to balance and have directional awareness - left, right, up, down, etc.
Follow manufacturers' instructions on how to calibrate your equipment.
