Team and Student Recognition

Team Hawkeye will celebrate the following: 

1. Students of the Month

   • 2 students per teacher for outstanding effort, improvement or citizenship

   • Pictures will be posted on bulletin board and linked to this page.

   • Certificates will be presented in front of the whole team

   • 2025-26 Students of the Month (will be linked)

2. End of Quarter Rewards

   • Qtr. 1

     • City Hall Park w/popsicles 

     • Criteria: No suspensions, No SMR's< 3 detentions

     • Focus: Behavior

   • Qtr. 2

     • Pool Party 

     • Criteria: No suspensions including bus suspensions, No SMR's< 3 detentions, <10 demerits for the semester, C's or better in 3 out of 4 core classes (Grades will be checked 2 days prior to event).

     • Focus: Behavior and Core Academics

   • Qtr. 3

     • Sundae Bar/Snow Cones

     • Criteria: No suspensions including bus suspensions, No SMR's<2 detentions, < 5 demerits for quarter,  C's or better in ALL core classes (Grades will be checked 2 days prior to event).

     • Focus: Behavior and Core Academics

   • Qtr. 4

     • Bike Hike (based on Behavior)/Pool Party (based on academics)

     • Criteria: No suspensions including bus suspensions, No SMR's, No Saturday's,  <2 detentions, <10 demerits for semester, No F's in ALL 4 Core classes  (Grades will be checked 2 days prior to event)

     • Focus: Behavior and all classes

3. Individual Student Birthdays

   • Student's name appears on the team assignment log

   • Students receive a Happy Birthday pencil, pencil topper, and 15 PBIS points. 

   • Summer birthdays will be celebrated on 1/2 birthdays

4. PBIS Points (Our token economy)

   • Students can earn points for positive actions, good citizenship, or excellent effort, etc. 

   • Students can either "purchase" something from our menu (privileges, school supplies, candy, a soda, etc) or enter a  raffle for a chance at a draw from our treasure chest.
