International Baccalaureate Mission Statement:

At minimum, start French or Spanish as a second language no later than the Freshman year;
Prior to course scheduling process your 10th grade year, attend an introduction to the DP meeting;
During sophomore year, complete 'Your Pathway to the Diploma (Two-Year) plan;
Complete formal school-based IB registration process, including submission of signed 'IB Diploma Programme Registration' form;
Enter the IB Diploma Programme your junior year at BHS (transfer to BHS if a BWHS student), and satisfactorily complete all the requirements over the next two years;
Throughout the two years, each Diploma student engages a unique CORE of individualized learning that includes an Extended Essay, a Theory of Knowledge component, and completion of Creativity/Activity/Service (CAS);
Each Diploma student completes at six total IB courses - three of which are high level - scoring an average of 4 out of 7 marks for each course.
