Apple Glen Families-
It is hard to believe that it is May already! This month is a very busy month. Please see the important dates above as well as the 2 included flyers below. This month we are going to host our annual Color Run. This is a favorite event for many students. It is important that we have a permission slip for your child to participate. You can sign this in My Payments Plus. The information is included in the flyer. This year we are raising funds to purchase Ipads that teachers can use interactively with students so they can engage with the TV screens in the classrooms. We appreciate your support as we raise these funds. The information regarding the fund raiser will be sent home in Tuesday folders.
I would like to take a moment to introduce Mrs. Adrienne Gunter. Mrs. Gunter currently serves as the Assistant Principal at The Interanational School at Mary Mae Jones. Next year she will be the principal at Apple Glen. She has served in a variety of roles in Bentonville as she has been with the district for 26 years.

It is getting close to that time of year!!! All books will need to be returned by
Friday, May 15th.
All Book Bingo (k-2) and Genre Journey (3-4) forms need to be turned in by Friday, May 8th
If your child has completed the challenge, they will get to participate in our End Celebration on Monday, May 11th. I do need parent helpers. Please email me if you are available to help at abrowning@bentonvillek12.org. Students who completed these challenges might want to wear a white shirt (k-2) for the color to show better, and older clothes (3-4) for the slime celebration.
