The following clinics offer psycho-educational assessments at discounted rates, usually determined by a sliding scale fee based on income. They are able to do so because the assessments are performed by graduate students in training, but the assessments are usually quite good and are done under the supervision of an experienced, licensed psychologist on the faculty of the graduate program. Note that these programs often fill up quickly, so making arrangements early is important.

Some families have opted to have the DCIU complete the testing for their child. This option is free to families. However, it may not provide quite the detailed report or feedback to families as a private psychologist would. It would be acceptable to schools and for ISEE accommodations. Contact Eric MacDonald if you would like to pursue this option. Note that the DCIU does not typically complete testing during the summer months.
