Performing Arts Pathway

The Performing Arts Pathway consists of four Programs of Study to help our students become Future Ready once they graduate from Bellville High School.  This experience that started with exposure for our Elementary students and exploration with our Junior High students culminates with our High School students building expertise in Programs of Study by completing an Industry Recognized Certification, attaining an Associate Degree, and/or performing at a superior level.  Each Program of Study contains the Secondary courses students will take in Bellville Junior High and Bellville High School.  You can explore each Program of Study in this Pathway by clicking on the links below. You can also find a document containing all the Academies, Pathways, and Programs of Study and the course sequences for all the Programs of Study by clicking here.

The Band program of study introduces learners to individual and group performances in music through participation in the Bellville High School Big Red Brahma Band.  Members of the band will perform in the marching band, concert band, and have opportunities to participate in solo and ensemble activities.

The Theatre Production program of study provides a laboratory learning experience for the exploration, development, and synthesis of the elements and components of theatre through participation in production activities such as Fall Production, UIL One Act Play, and Spring Production.

The Technical Theatre program of study introduces learners to and teaches them how to apply stage craft.

The Dance (Drill Team) program of study expose students to a variety of dance forms such as modern dance, ballet, tap, and jazz.  The students are members of the Brahmadoras and perform at specified school and community events.
