AP NEWSLETTER
It is the goal of Beebe School District to be of help and support to our parents and students in all walks of their K-12 career. As a part of this goal, the Advanced Placement (AP) Program at Beebe High School would like to help students and parents to be more aware of what goes on in the world of Advanced Placement Classes at BHS through a quarterly AP newsletter. Each newsletter contains important information from teachers concerning study session dates (students are expected to attend) and any other essential information from our GT/AP Coordinator, Ms. Deaton.
AP STUDY SESSIONS: Each school year, each AP instructor conducts three AP Study Sessions throughout the school year. Study Sessions are to give each AP instructor a three-and-a-half to four-hour session to dive deeply into the AP Exam for their content area. Our students consistently state that the sessions help them tremendously on their AP Exams. These session dates are set early in the year to allow students to make arrangements to attend. There are instances due to weather, athletics, or unforeseen circumstances that a Study Session is rescheduled. AP instructors work hard to accommodate students when changes have to be made. If a student misses a Study Session they are expected to make up the work that was completed during the session.
