In the first part of this activity, you will use the information in homework and classwork to make a process diagram that shows how the Industrial Revolution gave Britain the ability and desire to engage in economic imperialism. You should organize your diagram to clearly show the "cause & effect" between the Industrial Revolution and the different parts of economic imperialism. relationships that stretch from the first event to the last event. The strength of a "cause & effect" relationship is based on the quality of the evidence presented - in general, specific events and actions are stronger evidence.
In the second part of the activity, you will write a short paragraph that describes the diagram. Remember, your paragraph should have a topic sentence (thesis), specific evidence and use clear reasoning to connect evidence to the topic sentence.
