BTEC SPORT Head Start Programme

Tuesday 2 & Tuesday 9 June

The BTEC Sport Head Start Programme gives students the chance to experience what it means to be a BTEC Sport student, all from the comfort of their own home. Over the course of two days, you will work with the head of department via our online learning platform to learn about the course. Learn about how to measure your fitness capabilities, why monitoring your health is so important, what it takes to set up a business in sport and how you can train to improve your performance.

You should select a lesson one from week A and a lesson two from week B to complete your BTEC Sport introduction.

There is also the opportunity to develop leadership and coaching skills with the Bede’s Diploma option of Sports Leaders Level 2. You can invest your time with the SLUK qualification to become a confident, knowledgeable, well-organised and well-respected young person, experiencing leading, coaching and officiating at a range of events and activities within the Bede’s community and local school and club links.

You should select a lesson one from week A and a lesson two from week B to complete your SLUK introduction.
