Welcome to Kindergarten music class. Your teacher is Mrs. Shaw. We will have a lot of fun learning about music this year. In kindergarten we focus on singing and dancing alone and in groups. We are introduced to beat, melody, and various percussion instruments as we learn about musical opposites, compose and improvise tunes and rhythms, and sing in a variety of musical styles and cultures. We will also learn about music and how it affects our feelings and emotions.
