Classroom Management Plan

My goal is to keep all children on task and engaged in learning.  Together in class, we will create a list of classroom rules.  All students in the class will sign the list stating that they will follow these rules. Signing the rules shows their commitment to follow them.  A copy will be sent home to you.  I talk about and reinforce making good choices everyday.

When children are off task, they will be given a verbal warning.  If the behavior continues, they will be sent to their seats for “time to think”.  This will give them time to think about how they will change their behavior and then rejoin the group.  If in the event the behavior continues to reoccur, you will receive a note or a phone call.  

It is my goal to keep communication between school and home open at all times. I look forward to working with both you and your child this year.
