MON APR 1

*Students who missed the Quest on the Friday before break need to schedule a time with Ms. C to make up

*A blue AIR Test Review sheet was passed out; you'll want to get it from the back table

BW: 1) Tell me something from your break. 2) For each decade starting with 1890-1900 give two terms/people/ideas/movements/inventions etc. associated with that time.

Class: We finished up the Cold War/War on Terror notes-get from a class mate.

TUES APR 2

BW: [google or book] 1) What is protected by the 1st Amendment? 2) Put the following documents in order: US Constitution Declaration of Independence Articles of Confederation, Magna Carta

Class: Quick lecture on the ideas of the Enlightenment- a complete printout is available on the back table. Then students worked through Review packet #4-8 and we reviewed.

WEDS APR 3

BW: pg 158 1) What is Federalism? 2) What are the 3 branches of government and what is each responsible for?

Class: Packet over the Federalist/Anti-Federalist argument. You will need to get the packet from the back table. The reading questions will not be collected, but the back page which is the chart will be collected on Monday (6th period on Tues). There will no additional class time to work on it.

THURS APR 4

BW: List the purpose of Amendments 13-22, 24-26

Class: Work in review packet #10-18, 24-31. If students finished they had time work on their Fed/Anti-Fed worksheet if they needed the time.

FRI APR 5

*EXTRA CREDIT opportunity: Complete the "leftovers" in your AIR Test Review packet correctly for some extra points. #1-3, 51,52, 58-84. Need to show Ms. C Monday before first bell.

*BW turned in at the end of the period today

BW: Table groups worked together to create some cause and effect charts for events in history. You'll need to check in with a tablemate to get caught up.

Class: Working through and presenting/discussing the charts. BW turned in to the tray.
