The goal and focus for my students this year are to read and analyze any text so they can: A) Identify the main idea or theme from a written work and B) Use textual evidence to support claims.

Beginning of Year Assessment

This shows students scores in regards to their reading at the beginning of the year. Each point represents a student and scores were compiled from RISE assessments.

End of Year Assessment

This shows the whether students made growth over the year. Each point is the same student as the point in the blue graph. For example: the first point in the blue graph is at 256 but in the red graph it is 401. This shows that student made growth of 145 points.
