My goal for my 7th grade students is to improve their writing skills. I want my students to be able to read and analyze any text so they can: A) Write a cohesive paper communicating ideas and B) Use textual evidence to back claims and ideas.
Beginning of Year Assessment
Beginning of Year Assessment
This shows students scores in regards to their writing at the beginning of the year. Each point represents a student and essay were entered into UtahCompose.
End of Year Assessment
End of Year Assessment
This shows the whether students made growth over the year. Each point is the same student as the point in the blue graph. For example: the first point in the blue graph is at 21 but in the red graph it is 24. This shows that student made growth of 3 points. Scores that are 0 indicate the student didn't take the assessment.
