**25-26 Resource Updates**
We are excited to share updates to our instructional resources, developed by teachers during this summer’s curriculum writing.
A new landing page now introduces each grade level or course, providing a clear overview for teachers and students. In addition, the standard breakdown documents have been enhanced to include essential instructional supports such as Important Vocabulary, Sentence Stems, and Textbook Units.
Teachers will also find Connections With Other Standards to help integrate learning across topics, along with Core Learning Experiences & Instructional Strategies to guide effective teaching. To further support student growth, these documents include Extensions of Learning & Supplemental Resources, Quick Explanations of Standards, and clearly defined Learning Targets.
These updates are designed to make lesson planning more efficient and promote deeper understanding for all learners.
When reviewing the curriculum, it is essential to determine a lens through which to focus the review. The purpose of the worksheet linked above is to assist teachers in reviewing maps, enabling them to critically reflect on their teaching practices and their impact on students’ educational experiences. The outcome of this review should determine whether any refinement is needed to improve student achievement.
