Summit Night Poster-
This poster helped me communicate ideas as I had to create a way to show off my past four years in JAGS. I usually do not enjoy talking about my experiences, but this poster helped me to explore another form of communication.

In government this year, we were assigned a project to research a new bill we would like to see put in place. This project helped me to recognize perspectives as I had to make my bill appealing to both political parties to ensure my bill would be passed. For this paper, I specifically focused on increasing the penalty for animal abuse, which also connects to the JAGS pillar, take action.
English- AP Research
For my AP Research, I investigated the field of sports nutrition to understand the nutritional needs of the varsity female soccer player. To accomplish my research goal, I completed a mixed-method approach consisting of a qualitative comparative content analysis and a survey. Overall, I found the school lunch menu at Jackson High School can support the nutritional needs of the varsity female soccer player.
Extracurricular- Soccer
This year I had two major accomplishments with soccer. First, during my high school season, our team made it into the tournament to hopefully win the OHSAA championship. We made it to district finals, we were tied the entire game, and in the last minute of the game, I scored the winning goal, which won our school the district title. This goal also allowed our season to continue, and we got to keep playing, which was really special to the seniors.
Secondly, I committed to the University of Findlay to continue playing soccer in college. This was really special for my family and me, as this has been my goal since I was little, and I am the first person from my family to play on an athletic scholarship in college.
