Europe Trip
Spring break 2025
JAGS Faculty
JAGS class of 2025 and 2026
The 2025 JAGS Europe trip was the best extra curricular experience I have had in highschool. During the Europe trip we went to five countries: France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, and Austria. We got to experience first hand what it is like to travel and live internationally. During the day we were provided with constant live knowlegde of the places we visited, and each night we recieved a traditional food from the country we where in at the time.
Europe represented the pillar, investigating the world, as that is exactly what we did. For our long jounry we saw famous artifacts, buldings, painting, and much more. We had the oppertunity to talk to locals, eat with them, and try our best to coexist. During this trip I learned many things, when on transportation it is not a time to mess around or else you risk missing your stop, eat what is given to you even if it isnt something you would choose, be accountable, look out for others, and how to get used to such a great time change. This trip had a major impact on my highschool journey, it was a trip of a life time, and when I get older I hope I may experience it again.

Final Research Essay
Second Semester, 2025
Mrs. Koladin
College Comp 2
The Final Research Essay was an oppertunity to do in depth research of a topic that has not only had a major impact on my life, but is also something that has fascinated me for years. This Essay began within the first week of the semester and lasted almost the rest of the school year, leading up to the final essay I created multiple essays each with a different viewpoint of obesity, my topic. The first essay consisted of source base research, my second essay consisted of talking to an expert, my third writing consisted of using the information gathered to conduct a survey on students within the Highschool, and finally I gathered all of this to create my Final Research Essay.
This essay follows the pillar of JAGS called, recogize perspectives, as it helped me learn much about obesity that goes unnoticed. This essay helped me learn what methods to use and aviod when undergoing helping obesity, how individuals with obesity are treated within society, and how many people around the world are experiencing obesity in some way. This essay inspired me as I was a former obese person looking for change, by applying what I have learned during my research I have been able to make change for myself for the better, and inspire others to do the same. This research project is a huge staple of my life as it has had the biggest impact on how I go about my daily lifestyle.

Dice Lab
First semester, 2024
Mr. Dillick
AP Physics
The Dice Lab was the first lab I preformed in my Physics class, it consisted of students being assigned different countries around the globe, all working towards a common goal of deciphering a code. At the begging of this project we recieved a sheet of words with numbers positioned next to a series of words. The catch is the numbers didnt allign with the numbers on the dice, and some the the dice had "inefective" outputs, making some unkown dice useless towards our goal.
The Dice Lab project follows two pillars of jags: Communicate Ideas, and Recognizing Perspectives. Students recieved a country and could only talk to other ally countries, and based on how much power your country had, information of the hidden meaning behind the dice rolls. I was given a country with very little classroom power, and almost zero allies so I completed this lab without much of any help. During this lab I learned self sufficiency, problem solving, and global relations.

Case Western SCHMUN
First semester, 2024
Miss. Stone
Model UN
SCHMUN was a chance to visit Case Western reserve, a college located in Cleveland Ohio. Before visiting case western we choose a country that we wanted to represent within a set of groups, I choose Nigeria, appart of the AU. Upon choosing countries we wrote a set of resolutions based off our countries beliefs, practice for the resolutions that we would write in Case Western. After all the practice was completed we took our two day trip to Case Western, first we underwent a group discussion and introduction, then we divided into our smaller groups. The AU group consisted of around twenty studients and was held in a room filled with African artifacts.
Case Western represented two pillars of JAGS: communicate ideas, and recognizing perspectives. At Case Western my fellow unknown students and I came together to solve a problem in the AU, by writing a single group resolution that a majority of the students must agree on. The biggest problem we faced was at the beggining students split into three different groups beased off of their countries beliefs with the task of turning this division into unison, but after the two days passed we came together to make a resolution a majoirty of the students could agree upon passing. During this SCHMUN, I learned how to come out of my comfort zone, provide my ideas to a group that doesnt think alike, and how to solve a major problem within the AU.

Create a Business Project
Second Semester, 2025
Mr. Crossman
Intro to Business
The Create a Business Project was a project where we would get put into groups of four then create a business plan and model together. At the start of the project we needed to create a business outline and then the business itself. My group agreed on making a business called strong sweets, an protein base ice cream shop with the slogan "where protein meets sweets". After deciding on what kind of business we wanted we then created menu items, found a location to put the business, a list of he biggest challanges we will face, and a flier that with a coupon on it.
The Create a Business Project mathes one pillar of JAGS: communicate ideas. During the project my group members and I needed to discuss amungst ourselfs on what portion of the project each member would do, and with out effective communication my group completed the project well before its due date. Making this project I learned about team work, and working ahead of a deadline. This project wasnt the biggest I faced in this class but it was definitely my best work, it is something I can look back on and be proud of myself.
