Animal Project Presentation
2/6/24
Mrs. Muckley - Accelerated English 10
We volunteered during the middle of the winter when these animals needed some help staying comfortable and dry. We fed and cleaned stalls for horses, goats, and pigs at the farm. The animals were very thankful for our work which I was surprised to see and we had a great time supporting a local farm.

Thank You Project Presentation
9/20/23
Mr. Walsh - American History
For this project, my group and I decided to give back to our local first responders by donating a handful of goodie bags filled with lots of snacks for the firefighters. My friend's dad is a current firefighter for Jackson Township so I reached out and asked if and when we could deliver our gifts. We had a lot of fun together helping to give back to the firefighters; these men and women deserve a lot more recognition and praise for the threats they face every day to serve us.
This project represents taking action as we set out to show support for our local firefighters by promoting the Annual Safety Center Open House and also by donating a couple goodie bags full of snacks. We were glad to be able to put a smile on these men and women's faces and to hear some of their crazy stories from their line of work. I am glad to know that these are the same people who keep everyone in Jackson Township safe and sound.
Traveling to Costa Rica with JAGS over Presidents Day weekend during my sophomore year was one of my favorite experiences in JAGS. Everything from the culture to the landscape was breathtaking, and I enjoyed every moment of it with my classmates. I learned a lot about myself on this trip, and it opened my eyes to life outside of the United States. I will cherish my memories of this trip for the rest of my life.

Hispanic Heritage Month Presentation
10/19/23
Señora Dennison - Spanish II
This project represents recognizing perspectives as Hispanic Heritage Month occurs annually every September 15th and lasts until October 15th. This month is to commemorate and celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions made by American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, Central/South America, and the Caribbean.
This document shows our beginning stages of our planning process as we started to create our documentary on humans negatively impacting the environment through pollution, over-fishing, and poaching. We chose this topic as we see there is much controversy and debate when people talk about these issues and we wanted to research and shed more light on these problems. Over the course of two months, we worked off and on to create this video which in our opinion was a success in raising awareness towards how humans treat this planet. There is much we could have improved on but for four first time video makers I think we all did great.

Documentary Project Outline
4/18/24
Ms. Arter - Chemistry
This project represents communicating ideas as members in our group had to work together to create a 10-15 minute long documentary of a topic of our choosing. We decided to create our documentary over human impacts on the environment (pollution, over-fishing, poaching, etc). We interviewed people from the Akron Zoo, Canada, and Ghana for primary research to use in our documentary. In the end, our teamwork allowed us to create a quality documentary over a topic we're each passionate about to voice our concerns in order to create a better planet.
