This essay represents communicating ideas as I wrote about a topic that I care about and also by using primary and secondary research to show the implications of government regulation in the American healthcare industry and why it could substantially improve healthcare in America.

Final Argumentative Research Essay
4/24/25
Mrs. Wiggins - CCP College Composition II
For our final paper of the semester in Comp II, we had to use primary and secondary sources to write an argumentative paper over the topic we picked at the beginning of the semester. My topic was expensive healthcare so I chose to talk about how government regulation could help to streamline the healthcare system in America by reducing costs and hassle. This paper felt like a culmination of all my writing knowledge from taking Comp I and II as well as my prior English classes. This topic was fascinating for me because there's so much that I could have talked about but I did not want to go too far down the rabbit hole.

Houthi Conflict Brief
1/9/25
Ms. Stone
For this project, students were split up into eight groups and each given their own current event to research before entering a Model UN conference to discuss these events as a class. The current event I was given was the conflict in Yemen over the Houthis' corruption and a humanitarian aid crisis. This project allowed me to think critically about a dire situation and from a perspective that is different from mine.
This brief represents recognizing perspectives as part of this assignment was to write as we were the person reporting this issue as well as the person who this issue is happening to which was very challenging but it opened my eyes to how diplomacy works and how people can view an issue but have two completely different perspectives.
This trip allowed me to investigate the world by exploring all sorts of different languages, cultures, foods, and meet people I would not normally. By being able to travel with JAGS, it has opened my eyes to the joys and hardships of traveling as well as the importance of being a lifelong learner. You only get to live once so you have to make every moment count.

Europe Trip
3/23/25
Traveling to Europe with JAGS has been the highlight of my high school career for so many reasons. The experiences I had in France, Germany, and Switzerland were amazing, the landscape was gorgeous, the food was delicious, the people were very nice and everyone had a great time. The friendships and the memories created on this trip will last me a lifetime and I am so grateful for this opportunity that being a part of JAGS has given me.

In Spanish three at the beginning of the year, people are paired up in groups of four. These groups are called familias and these familias spend the whole year together working on mini projects or making sure each person is doing what they are supposed to. This year my familia and I created this presentation to introduce ourselves.
This transcript represents communicating ideas because math is a subject that heavily relies on asking questions and working with others to find solutions. This class also had multiple partner quizzes, which required good communication.

Mrs. Tolarchyk
I have learned a lot this year from all of my CCP classes but especially from math. I have learned that procrastination in my schoolwork does not translate well to tests and exams and in order for me to grow as a person, I need to grow my knowledge. These college classes have opened my eyes to the challenges that real college life awaits for me in the future but I am excited to venture onto greater challenges.
