About Me

Hi, I am Alyssa Large. I am a Senior in JAGS, graduating in May of 2026. My favorite classes are Psychology, English, and History. After graduation, I plan to go to Kent State Stark to study Middle Childhood Education with the intention of teaching 4th graders English and Math. Some things I enjoy doing are listening to music, taking my dogs (Jake and Luna) for walks, and baking. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and family. During my high school career, I've went to Heifer Global Village, Costa Rica, and Europe with JAGS. These trips all opened my eyes to cultural differences. I enjoyed learning about each place and their different cultural practices. In Costa Rica I was able to utilize my Spanish skills to speak to tour guides. Since I do not know French, Dutch, or German, I was not able to use those languages in Europe, but fortunately, there were a few Spanish-speaking people.
