Cook Your Culture
I got to make Romanian donuts, technically called Gogoși. It was made out of frozen bread, fryed, and rolled in cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar.
Paige's Posse
To start my senior year service, I walked at Paige's Posse with the Caldwell family!
Every year the Caldwell's walk in the Akron Children's Walk4Babies in honor of their daughter, Paige. The Caldwell's triplets were born 3 months early, and had serious time in the NICU. Paige unfortunately passed a few hours after she was born. The NICU treated the Caldwell family with a lot of love and care.
Avery is using her association with the Akron Children's NICU as her capstone and giving back to the program that treated her family so well!
Hanging with Mr. Knopick at the football game! We cheered our team onto a victory!!!! Unfortunately, the refs didn't get the memo. #badrefs

I was the November JAGS student of the month!!
G.O. Night
Juniors and Seniors did a Model UN demonstration. Avery and I were partners, and while we didn't solve anything, it was so nice to be in the chamber again! See Chamber Reflection
We also got a full senior picture!
Adopt-A-Family Gift Wrapping
This holiday season, I took part in Adopt-A-Family shopping and gift wrapping. My favorite holiday is Christmas and I basically start celebrating it in August, so the chance to help spread holiday cheer was the perfect way for me to volunteer.
JSA Arts Extravaganza
If you haven't already realized, I am also in the JSA program. I have been in JSA since my freshman year, so I have become extremely involved throughout the years, I was even almost the JSA intern! JSA AEX is the biggest event the program hosts. It's a full night dedicated to recognizing the talents of all JSA students in all aspects of art. I helped with set-up, tear-down, planning, and keeping things running throughout the night. I even got my own walkie-talkie!
LAKE CENTER CHRISTIAN!!
I actually love Model UN so much. Lake Center Christian is easily the best crisis league to go to!
In both years I went we did not end up solving the crisis, but it's a great reminder that MUN can be fun and light-hearted.
All of the JAGS students that participated in LCC
Avery scaring off the pirate
Blue Swan army 4 life!!!!!
JAGS/JSA Italy Trip
Coolest nine days of my life! We traveled to Venice, Florence, Assisi, Sienna, Salerno, Sorrento, Pompeii, and Rome. Although there were a lot of tears, rooming obstacles, and a forgotten pair of Beats headphones, this trip was nothing short of a success!
My personal favorite destination was Florence, but nothing will ever top the Gondola ride in Venice on the first day. I just cannot believe this was a real opportunity provided by JSA and JAGS.
JAGS Mentor Group
Hannah Kemper and I got to work together representing the mentor group, Canada!
Easily the best mentor group, we have extra JAGgerS in our group all the time!
